falling back in love

Having grown up with a dad as a photographer and being introduced to photography at an extremely early age, it has long been my passion. I started truly pursuing it my freshman year of high school and absolutely fell in love with black and white film photography. Working in the dark room producing my own images gave me such a great sense of gratification. But upon entering college, I lost all the resources I had in high school and I ultimately stopped taking pictures. I've had a DSLR for years but honestly I never liked using it. I was so attached to my film camera that I hardly ever picked up my Nikon D40, but I think its time I pay it some attention. Something triggered me this year and I was reminded of how much I love photography. I fell back in love with it and this quarter I've decided to make a commitment to keep up with it, to take more pictures, and do something with them. I'll be sharing my photos with whoever comes across this page, so enjoy!
